Your site stays where it is — GoDaddy, SiteGround, WP Engine, wherever. We handle the WordPress maintenance layer: updates, security, backups, and fixes. One thing to note: because we don’t control your hosting environment, we can’t guarantee server-level performance or uptime — that sits with your existing provider.
Best for: Businesses with existing hosting arrangements who want professional WordPress maintenance without moving everything across.

Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee on any plan. Your first month starts from the date your subscription activates.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes — you can move up to a higher tier at any time. The new plan price applies from your next billing cycle.
What happens to my site if I cancel?
Your site remains live and unchanged. If you’re on a Maintenance + Hosting plan, you’ll need to arrange alternative hosting before cancelling — we’ll help you migrate cleanly. If you’re on Maintenance Only, your hosting is unaffected.
How do I manage my subscription?
All billing is handled through Stripe. You can update your payment method, view invoices, and manage your subscription directly through your Stripe customer portal — accessible from your welcome email or by contacting the AX Digital team.
What if something breaks outside of normal maintenance?
For clients on a maintenance plan, you have a team that already knows your site. We’ll assess the issue and either resolve it within your plan scope or quote for any work that falls outside it. You’re never starting from scratch with someone who’s never seen your site before.
What counts as a "minor text content change"?
Copy edits, phone number or address updates, opening hours, team member names, pricing table text — anything that’s a straightforward text swap rather than a design or development change. If you need new sections built, layout changes, or new functionality added, that’s covered by the Enterprise plan’s 1-hour website additions, or quoted separately.
What's Cloudways and why does it matter?
Cloudways is a managed cloud hosting platform that sits on top of infrastructure providers like DigitalOcean, AWS, and Google Cloud. It’s faster and more reliable than shared hosting (GoDaddy, SiteGround, etc.) and gives us better control over your site’s performance and security. All AX Digital Maintenance + Hosting plans run on Cloudways.
Do I have to move my hosting to AX Digital?
No. If you have existing hosting you’re happy with, our Maintenance Only plans cover the WordPress layer without touching your hosting arrangement. If you’d like to move to our Cloudways infrastructure for better performance, our Maintenance + Hosting plans handle both.
